Here is your itinerary for a 4 day
Fortin Uruguay Duck Hunting 2011:
Saturday - day of arrival at the Montevideo International Airport - MVD.
The drive time to the lodge is about 3.5 hours from the Montevideo Airport. There is a possibility to hunt the first day of arrival.
*You must arrive via the direct flight from MIA to MVD. This American Airlines Flight arrives at 9 AM.
Sunday - all day Uruguay duck hunting. Blinds are 15 to 40 minutes from the lodge and 3 boxes of shells are give to each hunter for the AM duck hunt. Duck hunting is out of a man-made dry blind. There are 2 hunters per blind plus a guide who will also call the ducks.
Monday - all day Uruguay duck hunting. The rate includes not only the all day guided duck hunting but also the lodging and meals. Tips and use of guns (Beretta 12 gauge shotguns) are also included in the daily rate.
Tuesday - all day Uruguay duck hunting. If you enrolled for the Uruguay Perdiz hunting - you experience the Upland hunting that is famous in Uruguay in the afternoon or morning. The limit is 10 Perdiz per hunter per day.
Wednesday - all day of Uruguay duck hunting with Los Gauchos Outfitters at the Fortin Lodge.
Thursday - This is the day of departure for the flight that departs at 9 PM from MVD. Clients will pay for their shotgun shells at the lodge. Cash (USD)and checks (3% fee) is accepted for the shotgun shells.
*NEW credit cards (Mastercard-Visa) now accepted for shotgun shell fees.
